Iceland... 2200km's in 5 days!
Hello everybody,
This is my first post on steemit and thought I'd use this opportunity to take you on a visual journey through Iceland.
I had always heard incredible things from other travellers about the natural beauty of Iceland, but never had the opportunity to go, but last year in November I finally got the chance to visit with my girlfriend.
The success of Game of Thrones and Hapthor Bjornsson has more recently brought Iceland into the limelight as a popular tourist destination and in my opinion it deserves every bit of praise and positive attention it gets.
Iceland is a cold, harsh place, but undeniably beautiful. The epic mountains and volcanic landscapes clash with the stark cold ocean and it is a sight to behold.
All I can say is... GO GO GO!!!!
