Tough woman
I'm currently sitting in front of a shop and here I see there are various kinds of activities that people do to earn money. We all know that the only way to earn money is to work. Whether it's pulling a rickshaw, working as a construction worker, or being a harlan. For men doing heavy work and under the hot sun is a common thing that we often encounter. However, there is an unusual sight that I saw today, it was a woman working under the hot sun unloading rice from the back of a car and being brought into a shop.
I was very surprised when I saw the woman willing to do such heavy work. Because actually this is a job for men. But this woman is willing to do the work that a man should do.
Yes, of course there is a reason why this woman wants to work like that. It was possible that the woman's husband had died, and had a child to feed. This condition forced the woman to have to do any work in order to earn money and buy food for her young children. Maybe he's used to this kind of work.
When I saw this woman working in the scorching sun, I was ashamed of myself, for always complaining about life. Even though there are many people out there who are less fortunate than us, but they are still grateful and continue to work in order to survive.
Hopefully from the woman's story we can take lessons and remain grateful to receive God's gift, whatever it is. That's why we must always be enthusiastic in living the mysterious twists and turns of life.
