Honey Guava Fruit Development Process

in Italy5 months ago

Hi all..
How are you today, I hope everything is fine, and whatever we do today can run smoothly as we want. Today I am back to writing my story about the process of developing honey guava fruit from flowering to turning into fresh guava fruit like this.

But before it becomes a guava fruit like that, of course there is a long process that goes through. First the flower pistils appear on each guava stalk. The guava flowers haven't bloomed yet and are still shaped like this, friends.

We can see in my photo that the flower has not yet opened, it is closed because it is still young. At this stage we only need to wait 3-5 days, after that the flowers will open by themselves and bloom. When they are in bloom, the appearance of guava flowers looks very beautiful.

The pistil juice of the flower looks like hair but is greenish white and very numerous. Well, at this time the beetles will come to suck the honey juice from the guava flower pollen. The absorption of honey by these beetles also helps accelerate the process of flowers becoming fruit. After a few days, the guava flowers which previously had lots of hair, have now changed to look like this.

We can see clearly in the photo, now the feathers that were white on the guava flower have now changed color to black. In a few days, the black feathers will fall off completely. That indicates it will soon enter the next phase, which will become a guava fruit. After 1 week later, now the guava flowers have turned into guava fruit and we can eat them.

But this guava fruit is still in pistil condition, it doesn't taste sweet yet. So we have to wait until the guava is completely cooked, and it tastes very sweet. Oh yes friends, I took this photo next to my own house. Earlier I wanted to look for beetles and caterpillars on guava leaves, but I didn't find them. I only found flowers and guava fruit, then I took pictures to make my post on Steemit. Hopefully this is useful for friends who read my story today. Thank you and hope to see you again.
