Bulukat Typical Aceh Food

Meet again with my post. Today I want to share a story with you here about one of our regional specialties, namely glutinous rice Bulukat.

How to make glutinous rice balls is also very simple. First we take enough glutinous rice, then soak it for about 5 hours. After that steamed for about 30 minutes. If it is cooked, remove it and let it cool for a while. Next, prepare the grated coconut that has been given a natural dye.

Then wrap it in a banana leaf that has previously been withered with fire, the goal is to make it strong and produce a fragrant aroma. So when eaten more appetizing.

This food is very popular in my village, usually it is often served for home entertainment, car driving, motorbike driving, and so on. The taste of Bulukat, which is fat and slightly salty, is even more delicious when combined with grated mixed with sugar.

We can also find this food in food stalls, or coffee shops.

I usually eat breakfast in the morning with glutinous rice balls, because in the morning, I rarely eat rice. Maybe those of you who live outside Aceh, are foreign to glutinous Bulukat food. But if you want to enjoy it, you can make it yourself at home, it's also easy to make, all you have to do is prepare the ingredients.
