Lock UPVOTE button after payout window

Have you ever received a notification that someone has upvoted one of your posts from 3 months ago? It doesn't happen very often but it does.

Sometimes people, specially new users of Steem Platforms don't know about payout window and upvote very old posts. Other times maybe they don't verify the age of the post.

The payout window refers to the time the post can be upvoted and get rewards; it is only of 6 days and a half. Actually there is a notification between 6 and half days and 7 days; or in other words, 12 hours before payout. When a user tries to upvote a post like that, the upvote button is kind of locked and they are told they can't upvote.

But when the post is 7 or more days old the button is active and they can click it only to lose Voting Power, which they could use to upvote another content that deserves it.

The voting power decreases in 2% every time a 100% upvote is casted; and every user with less than 500SP has only the chance to give 100% upvotes, which is a very big loss in their case.

But sadly I didn't. And If I try to upvote it it seems like it works.

And yes, I can click it, but the reward does not increase; just decreases my voting power.

The main problem is no Steem is given no anyone in this cases, generating also a loss for the whole system.
