Esta semana me uno al concurso que consiste en hacer manualidades con materiales principalmente de reciclaje. Me interesó lo suficiente como para hacer este portalápices porque justo estaba buscando algo como esto para decorar mí escritorio, por eso de una vez les muestro cómo fue que lo hice. ¡Manos a la obra!

This week I am joining the contest that consists of making crafts with mainly recycling materials. I was interested enough to make this pencil holder because I was just looking for something like this to decorate my desk, so at once I show you how I did it. Let's do it!

Materiales / Materials:

• Cilindro de papel higiénico/ Toilet paper cylinder
• Pegamento/ Glue
• Tijeras/ Pair of scissors
• Lápiz/ Pencil
• Papel encerado/ Wax paper
• Papel metalizado/ Metallic paper
• Cartulina escolar/ School cardboard

PASOS/ STEPS:

Paso 1/ Step 1:

Empezamos haciéndole el soporte o base. Recortamos la cartulina dejando 2cm más de lo que es la circunferencia del cilindro.

We start by making the support or base. We cut the cardboard leaving 2cm more than what is the circumference of the cylinder.

Paso 2 / Step 2:

En este caso yo decidí ponerle un toque divertido agregando “patitas” al soporte pero podrías dejarlo solo con la circunferencia.

In this case, I decided to add a fun touch to it by adding "legs", but you could leave it with the girth.

Paso 3 / Step 3:

Una vez que tenemos cada pieza recortada solo toca forrarlo. Agregamos suficiente pega y ajustamos hasta que quede adherido al cilindro.

Once we have each piece cut out, we just have to cover it. Add enough glue and adjust until it adheres to the cylinder.

Paso 4 / Step 4:

Forramos el soporte y pegamos al cilindro, junto con las “patitas” que decidí añadir.

We lined the bracket and glued it to the cylinder, along with the "legs" that I decided to add.

Paso 5 / Step 5:

Aquí tomé una estrella de foami que me había sobrado de otra manualidad y decidí ponerla. Dejen volar su imaginación y añadan todo lo que sea de su agrado para que su escritorio se vea genial y divertido.

Here I took a foami star that I had left over from another ship and decided to wear it. Let your imagination run wild and add whatever you want to make your desk look cool and fun.

Este fue el resultado final de lo que decidí hacer para mejorar mi organización en las clases online. Quizás haga otros para colocar el resto de útiles, por lo pronto me gustó mucho como quedó mi espacio, un toque de color para hacer ese tiempo ameno.

This was the end result of what I decided to do to improve my organization in online classes. Perhaps I will make others to place the rest of the supplies, for now I really liked how my space was, a touch of color to make that time enjoyable.
