The "Wieliczka" Salt Mines in Krakow
One of the most original and innovative parts of the Steemfest was the hosting of the final dinner deep within the labyrinthine caverns of the salt mines in Krakow. @roelandp, your creativity knows no bounds. Suffice to say, we were all blown away by it! Whilst down there, I tried to capture as many snaps as I could, given the beautiful sculptures and artistic wall and ceiling formations. It was truly awe-inspiring and you'd had to have been there to really take in how magnificent it all looked close up.
Although this is, by far, my favourite shot. It gives a detailed look at the textures of the tunnels, with it's almost rippling natural designs and sweeping architectural grandeur throughout. Beauty like I've never quite witnessed before. What a way to end proceedings for the fest. Absolutely breathtaking stuff... :)
