Some Serious Euphoria Thanks to the Recent Steem Prices
Wow! What a day I'm having. I wake up as usual and bleary eyed, reach down to check my phone for the latest STEEM price. Trust me when I say sleep left me pretty quickly. The feed read "$2.55" and the rush of excitement I felt was tremendous.
Main reason being, I feel we are on the verge of a massive pump. These are the mild rumblings before the earthquake hits.
I've been watching the price action of the charts quite closely of late and have been expecting moves like this for a considerable amount of time now. Patience was the key, though at times was quite difficult to control, lol.
Take the snapshot that I took earlier today (all data taken using the daily timeframe)...
Back in July 2016 when steem had it's initial pump over 0.007 BTC. But of course it was short lived as a newish coin to pump "so" hard in that relatively short period of time was crazy. Since that time, as you can see above, price has fallen drastically but for the last few days has been bouncing around the 900 sats area. We, as far as I can see, are at the bottom. There isn't much lower down to drop which gives me reasonable confidence to believe prices will punch higher very soon and very quickly.
Also, take into consideration the chart below.
Since having "bottomed out", the price is action is finally making higher highs and starting to gather bullish momentum. A very positive sign overall for steemians looking to see an increase in the price a each STEEM.
Now, technicals outlined above, coupled with some great development of the platform in general and going into 2018 bode extremely well for some serious upward movement. I, like my very good friend @exyle, have never powered down. Literally kept on hoarding STEEM tokens like there's no tomorrow with the sole objective of having maximised from this unbelievable opportunity when steem realises it's full potential.
Everything is life starts out as some sort of initial vision. Placing a looking glass into the future to base our expectations off of.
And in the case of STEEM, we seem to be at a unifying moment in terms of chart patterns and developmental news. The following few weeks should prove to be very interesting indeed. Let's see where we are at come late January or early February.

This new year is gonna be awesome for steem and we will be seeing steem at 20$ or above. This is very possible with current scenario and btc growth. Thing in crypto currency world are getting better with each day.
We're poised for a perfect storm, to mix metaphorical cliches... plus, people are looking for alternative crypto because those futures contracts going into effect in January may make bitcoin too volatile for most stomachs. STEEM is definitely an attractive alternative, even for non-bloggers!
I see the bigger picture, @geke. STEEM has a strong developmental team behind it and some major plans in the works. The current price action is just coinciding with what I see coming. A lot to look forward to and we're right in the thick of it. :)

Yeah now is just a matter of time before Steem skyrockets! Lokk at the price of SBD, its 5 times the price of Steem now!.
I think those both currencies will come together to a price +/- $6 sometimes in early 2018

Yes, the speculation alone in terms of what is happening behind the scenes, is enough for these interesting prospective moves.

Absolutely agree steem's blockchain is superior technically speaking,we might see steem's price increases in this coming year but i expect a decent sized correction in crypto currencies as whole .Its almost 500 billion where it may suffer some setback @tuhin201
We're on the same page, buddy. The crypto market as a whole is quite overheated. But I look long term. And where we are headed in regards to the STEEM blockchain, is a very exciting place.
I am also so curious about what the next year will do. I can hardly wait.
