Sketching Ben Stiller

Here is an improvised Ben Stiller portrait I made few days ago. At first, I intended sketching only the face as the background made it difficult to see and tracing of the hair outside his forehead was near impossible. But halfway through the finishing touches, I thought; 'what the heck, just paint it black', and so I did.

When I first knew Ben Stiller, it was through series of movies he made with his friend Owen Wilson. Movies like "Zoolander," "Night at the Museum," "Meet the Parents," etc.
Ben Stiller is one of those few actors in the comedy line that personally barely cross the morality line and to many extent, I respect him for that cause making comedy without hurting certain people's feelings is hard, really hard and requires lots of thinking and restraint.
I love the fact that he knows what works best for him.

One of my favourite movies of his is "Night Watch" the 2012 movie directed by 'Akiva Schaeffer' the silent but brainy member of The Lonely Island franchise.
