A James Franco Pencil Impression
I first came across James Franco while watching Spiderman back in 2002 where played the role of "Harry Osbourne" the friend of Spiderman (Tobey Maguire) and the son of The Goblin (Willem Dafoe). And in the third part of that movie, he himself became that which he'd formally dread.
In the subsequent years, I began seeing him in comic movies and damn he was really good in them too. One of my favourite was his collaboration with Danny McBride in "Your Highness" a weird twisted portrayal of epic royalty and adventure.
His more recent "Disaster Artist" which he did in 2017 co starring his younger brother Dave was by far the most artistic impression I've ever seen him do, he really researched that role. I could bet that his spent almost a year if not more doing that.
Today's sketch is just an impression of him by yours truly using my new blur-scribble technique and below are the procedures.....
I almost entirely made this sketch with my 8B Pencil but somewhere along the line, I drifted to a lighter shade.
It's always a pleasure having you, do stop by tomorrow.
