You are not taking your green polo!
'You are not taking that green polo!'
That's what I heard when I was trying to pack my bag today.
'But...I like my green polo', I threw back in defense.
(I already knew it was pointless)
'You have so many nice clothes why do you want to take that old thing. It has holes!'
'I will back your bag instead', she said, firmly.
That sounded like a good deal!
'Can I wear my green polo today?'
'I'll allow it.'
I make a joke about it but I'm actually very happy she offered. Because I always overpack.
What if the jeans I'm wearing get dirty? I better bring another one.
But what if it rains and that one gets wet?
mmmm....better bring three.
Even though experience has thought me I always return with half a suitcase of clean clothes I can't help myself.
Ridiculous reasoning but that's me. It takes hours too.
It's very nice to have a partner in life that is good with this.
It's like being a team. Helping each other out. I'm grateful.
She took my cluttered thoughts away from me so I could concentrate on other things.
None of it mindblowing by the way.
I threw away the garbage. Because it came to me that the bin might be smelly after 6 days if I didn't do that.
I also put in a new laundry to wash and folded the stuff from the dryer.
When she came downstairs to change the washing I said:
'I already did that, I got it covered'.
She smiled.
Like I said, teamwork.
Besides laundry and garbage, I also have been busy trying to collect all my vlogging stuff together.
I realized it's a lot of gear.
So, I went upstairs to ask for 'space' in my suitcase.
She said, 'I already created that, I got it covered'.
'I made space for your laptop here, battery and powerpack there and your OSMO stick can go over here.'
This time I smiled :)
Can't ask for more than that can I?
Packing (overpacking) is an issue with me too. I have those what ifs regularly and always end up packing more than I need. Half the bag returns untouched. True story. High five!
What's the history behind that green polo? why do you like it so much? :)
He is just attached to old clothes since he was a kid, his mom told me that haha
Yes, he was (and he is)! He would also never come with me to the shops to buy new clothes. His brother loved it, and he hated it, strange isn't it, two brothers!
I still don't like it :)
He's not the only one. My husband loves his holy shirts! It's Why I had to look. We also enjoy teamwork.

When I got married after a few months people would ask me "how's married life?" I'd say "Better than I ever could have expected!" And it's true. I couldn't have asked for a better wife!

Nice post my friend, well it's nothing better than a great life partner in your life, who cares about you, who knows about your likes and dislikes and helps you fixed those troubles in your life and having such partner really makes the life beautiful and easier and you have that partner in shape of bianca and she is so calm person and it's great both of you understand each other and helps each other out of those problems, it's always great to have extra clothes in the bag because you never know about the weather and conditions you face during your journey, wishing both of you happiness and new joys in steemfest2 my friend, thanks for sharing

Packing is a real chore and over packing a problem but have you ever been in a strange city and realize that you have forgotten an important item and what a big deal it is to get out and locate that item?

You sound just like me when I pack, but I prefer to have more clothes that I might need than to be lacking something. Everyone always laughs at me, how much luggage I bring.
What a teamwork. This is how all marriages should be like and I believe this is why I and my husband have been together for 26 years so far, because we are a team.
