Vlog #101: 30.000 active users on the Steem Blockchain in one day + What to write about.
Almost every day I check the stats posts by user @penguinpablo.
It's a very handy 'tool' for me to keep track of all the stats regarding Steemit.
He's also the creator of Steemnow which I use daily.
For the first time, we had more than 30000 active users on the steem blockchain.
I'm very happy with this because this time it happened without anything speculative happening (like the price shooting up for instance).
It seems to be very organic growth.
And I believe this growth can be seen as an oil stain that is spreading.
It started small but it gets bigger faster and faster when more and more people learn about the Steem Blockchain.
'Active users' is one of the most important stat for me. I believe it's hugely important for the success of the Steem blockchain and ultimately the steem price.
This is a social (economic) media site after all and more users give it more merit.
What to write about
I got some questions by users what to write about. To which I say: 'anything you want'.
Don't force yourself too much thinking it should be life-changing stuff. And also don't allow yourself to think that what you have to say is not interesting.
I don't think for a second my blog will change the world. But I do like writing stories about my life, talk about crypto and making vlogs. I enjoy it and it became a big part of my life.
My number #1 tip is to just post about things that you enjoy and do it consistently.
And remember any Steem token you earn today will be worth a lot more in the future. (if I'm right, of course :) )

Hitting 30k active users is a great achievement and just shows the steady growth of Steemit. I also look at penguinpablo's post everyday and think it's a great "snapshot" of what's happening with Steem. Love his weekly post too as I feel it's a great indicator of how things have been progressing from a little larger perspective.
You bringing up all the things happening in the background that we don't see on an everyday basis to promote this growth and make Steemit better is really important. Whether is be a new d app or just small changes to make Steemit run a little smoother and make functionality or the aesthetics a little better, it all helps make the experience better. It's really exciting to Steemit grow organically and when they're ready to introduce HF 20, I can only imagine how much growth we'll see. Very exciting times lay ahead!!
Love seeing the green day again and hopefully Jamie Dimon, Jordan Belfort and the rest of the cronies stay under their rock and we continue to get people who understand crypto and don't fear it spread truthful news of how it can be of benefit to humanity.

It's great to know that there are that many users active daily users on Steemit. Thanks for posting the link to the dead followers tool. It reminds me a lot of the tool I used to use on Instagram to track what they call "ghost followers" or non-active users which is the same thing as dead followers.
Fall has officialy started seein from your blog looks exactly :) and with that it also great to know that we finally have 30K active memebers on steemit platform which is tremendous as your said,and
That was a really nice example that its like a oil stain in the water which will keep spreading faster and faster with time to come but the plus point of it is that all have been achieved organically.
At last of your blog you really gave me motivation that do everthing which you like and just start writing down its like a wise investment and the time will pay off i really hope so 10X will be the growth and it has the potential in that to achieve that i am working my bit thanks for updating always and for awesome incredible blogs :)

Thank you so much for sharing such helpful tool for to check dead followers.. do you know any tool to check pending payouts on the steemit..? Steem.supply is not working on me from last week..

It's don't showing all previous 7 days comments earnings..😔 only shows about one or two days.. that is another issue on it.. steem.supply is not working only on me..🤔
@djmalith I'm not sure is the problem with Steem.supply on your computer. It works on fine on mine. I'm not sure if this will solve your problem but try emptying out your browser's cache and cookies.
Go to Steem.supply and try with my ID (djmalith). I tried with clearing cookies and changing browser.. But same issue..😐
Thank you for the indirect shout out :) I think people are unsure what to write about because they haven't created a style yet and that is something a bit intimidating when starting out.
Anytime. Finding a style is important I guess. It took me a while to find it. But it's a fun journey.
fantastic post @exyle, it's no doubt great achievement by steemit to get 30k active users, yes the no. of active users are very important for the development and growth of any platform, we already have a great example of almost all the social media platforms like facebook, twitter and instagram when they have 20 or 30k active users no body knows them but once they exceed the 70K active users limit they suddenly becomes viral sort of thing, well you also share with us a great app which tracks down the no. of dead followers and it's no doubt extremely helpful for all the steemians, wish you a very happy weekend ahead my dear friend, thanks for sharing
