First time Beef ribs on the green egg! O yeah!
I had some extra time on my hands today!
So I decided to make some beef ribs on the green egg for the first time!
Simple rub on the meat: Mustard, Salt, Pepper and some Sugar.
Man they turned out great!
Two, Four and Six hours in. Finished the last hour wrapped in foil.
I let the meat rest for an hour! The hardest part of any grilling session.
Pretty happy with the result!

Excellent grilled ribs, my friend, it's good to see your famous green egg back in business. I am sure that the taste was excellent because they look very appetizing in the section! Thanks Mark
Those ribs look so good. Beef ribs are the best.
Beef ribs are my absolute favorite thing to smoke! What type of rub did you use? I use a spicy mayo for a binder and 50/50 salt and pepper with a spritz of apple cider vinegar every hour or so.

They turned out amazing! My charity bbq team had an event this Saturday and we made some of the best brisket I've ever tasted. Our pit master used fish sauce as an additional way to add salt and umami to the cut, but I didn't walk away with a working knowledge of how he went about applying it. We were way to busy for bbq school 😊

Looks delicious my friend. We have the off brand black acorn and we LOVE IT. Thinking about getting a bigger one and going with the green agg this time
Oh boy I can imagine they tasted GREAT!!!!!
It’s on my wishlist, a big green egg...
That brings a tear to my eye. I am making smoked chili on the BGE right now.
If it turns out half as well as your ribs, I’ll be delighted.
That looks awesome too! How did it turn out?
It turned out great!!! We had our first snow yesterday, so I wanted something hearty. Chili with crusty bread and butter is a favourite comfort food of mine.
To make it on the BGE, take your favourite chili recipe. Put the liquid ingredients in a pot, take your dry ingredients and make a meatball. Set it on a rack above the pot. Smoke with your favourite chips (I used hickory, cherry and apple) until the meatball is cooked, then crush into your liquids. Heat it up to a boil, then simmer until you can't wait any longer.
Once you've had smoked chili, you won't go back.
This is it!
The look is astonishing.
You really know how to get your meat right.
Wow!
Enjoy and have a good Sunday afternoon.
My stomach is rumbling now!
Green egg after such a long time and making in it is always fun :D
You grilled it so awesomely @exyle because of smoking with those aromatic wood chips. Is it an aged beef though?
No wasn't an age beef.
