Finally got my new Wirex crypto debit card!
I have owned a Wirex card for a very long time but at some point it stopped working because they had some trouble with Mastercard I believe.
Now after many moons of waiting I got the message not long ago that my new Wirex Visa Debit card was waiting to be ordered.
And so I did.
It arrived yesterday but because of Bianca's party I couldn't test it but I did so this morning.
It's so easy I'm sure anyone can do it and it lowers the barrier from going to Crypto --> Fiat.
In the Wirex app on your phone you will have a Bitcoin wallet.
You can send your Bitcoin there and use the internal exchange (in app) to change it to your fiat of choice and top up the debit card.
This process takes seconds and the rates for the internal exchange or very good. (I did a quick compare).
Once the card is topped up you can go shopping.
I tried it and spend 2 dollars on something and it worked perfectly!
The card cost $1,50 a month which I think is more than fair.

Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve heard about Wirex crypto debit card! At the same time, it sounds really exciting about crypto heading this way. I’m pretty sure it’s only matter of time when these kind of crypto cards go mainstream. It will become necessity for everyday life.

Good lord, I got mine yesterday and used it for the first time! It's very sleek and all works smashingly well!!
Glad to know that it's working again. I've had my eye on them for a while!
It's fab, I used a company, cryptopay before and was doubtful of wirex but it all looks really good and works like a charm!!
Did you used in ATM 🏧? Do they charge a lot there? Do they accept ethereum or just bitcoin?

I think the card itself is a bank account card, the app allows you to deposit BTC, XRP & LTC. You can then transfer them to your card.
I used it in store because they do cryptoback - a rewards type money back thing of 0.5% on your purchases :0)
Hopefully they don't charge a lot to get/buy a card, thanks for the info

Nice I was goin to get one..... but can’t use in the US. Land of the Free HA! Glad to see you got yours. Does it work as good as they say it does on their site? Do you happen to know of any that can be used in the US. Everytime I look, I hit a dead end. Sorry cannot use in the US. Lame I tell ya Lame!!

This card is very functional, unfortunately with the new law of the European union Argentina I am without this service, we are waiting for another service

I use Revolut card-good if are a traveller. they are incorporating crypto as well
