It's becoming a tradition when I visit @ezzy.

Trying to beat an insane hard SNES game from back in the day!

Last time it was Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts.

We did beat it in the end (but not twice, like the elite would).

But I still count it as a huge achievement.

These old classics just have something that new games don't have.

They are easy to play but insanely hard to master.

We opted this time for a game I never managed to beat when I was young.

And so far we have been stuck on the boss of the Sand Crawler level forever.

And having no more than 3 continues (about 12 lives) means you have to start over from the beginning of the game every time if you don't make it within those.

The game I'm talking about: Super Star Wars.

One of the coolest game (Imho) ever made.

Man, it's so much fun playing these classics with someone that went through the same era and understand the nostalgia that comes with them.

We have till Monday to beat the game.

As you can tell I'm having a blast here!

Greetings, Great Exyle

I played that game when I was a kid. He was cool to play. But it wasn't what I played anymore. I was very fond of rock and roll racing, Super Star Soccer, Sunset Riders, Top Gear 2, Captain America and The Avengers, etc. I think for hours and hours I played Super star soccer and rock and roll racing. He thought it was too good to play, especially if he had a friend to play!!! However, the game I played most of all and what I had was Top Gear 2

Thanks for posting and good fun for you guys.

I love Sunset Riders!

Excellent game, my friend and you are right, in the old games there is something magical that brings us to youth, we get real pleasure from the game and those oshchjuscheny that once experienced. Well done, go on! Thank you Mark.

Game really very wonderful
I wish you all the best, my dear
Really something very cool

hahaha this is awesome!! I don't know if I ever played that game. It sounds familiar, just can't remember. You are right the classics are awesome. I still remember playing the first nintendo, and trying to beat Mike Tyson's Punchout...so many good memories. Oh and playing Double Dragon...lol Double Dragon was the first game I ever bought. haha

Double Dragon was a crazy good game!

hahahaha yeah so awesome. Rampage was fun too. Did you ever play Adventure on the Atari 2600? I loved how it was featured in the movie Ready Player One. Epic movie by the way, if you haven't seen it. Especially if you love the 80s and pop culture references lol.

I'm more of an Original NES guy but SNES was classic as well, have fun.

Never played it but looking like a man cave with the beer cans. One more day before Bianca comes ,better make the most of it lol.

hello exyle sir,@EZZY is a very good game in which you have done a very good line.

Back in the early 90's I can only play like Mario 1 and battle city and the likes. Until I just got old playing and got bored of it all too including modern PC games @exyle

Man, it's so much fun playing these classics with someone that went through the same era...

I could only imagine when we all grow old and you still play the same classic game with @ezzy writing about it here Jackee st like now. This will be fun to read, of course if I’m still around 😆.

Good luck with the game!

The oldest games I played were probably Centurion and Pre-historik 2 and Prince of Persia! Back when we the games were in floppy disks and we had to run the game through DOS by writing a command line that I always had to ask my mother because I still hadn't started to go to school!! I still remember to this day playing those games and feels amazing trying to go over them again!

Ofc i played more games, especially on the Sega Saturn, playstation 1 and game boy! Gameboy without colors... back when black and white games were normal and when the game stopped working we just had to blow into the hole!

Prince of Persia is one of the all time ultimate classics.

I still remember there was a cheat at the beginning that would send make you go to one of the last levels of the game, don't know what it was though... it's been almost 20 years! damn, just realized i'm old
