A great feijoada and an ok Brazil first match!
Today was the start of the World Cup for Brazil.
Considering the Netherlands is not playing it's the county I'm cheering for this year.
Man it sure is different with a Brazilian audience then a Dutch one!
They are so loud!
Half the match I had to cover one ear for protection.
It was a lot of fun though!
Before the match we watched Germany lose which was sort of nice for them because the 7-1 still runs deep.
It's not that they don't like Germany just that this year they would prefer not to run in to them :)
After we had a plate of feijoada.
The feijoada was served with rice and a salad but also this.
It's called Farofa.
It's a cassava flour (this one filled with extra goodies).
It was delicious. (I went back 2 more times).
Sadly Brazil couldn't take home the win and had to settle for a draw mainly due to Switzerlands strong game.
But with two more matches to go we have good hope it will be alright!

I was so desapointed today about this game, I was expected more from Brazil

Excellent Feijoada man. It means you watched the game of Brazil. What do you think? I do not follow much games from Brazil, I prefer to watch my team Flamengo play, however, I saw a piece and it seems that the team was extremely nervous for the game.
That should change from the next two games. Let's see what it's like.
Your feijoada looks pretty appetizing. I really liked her mixture with flour and vinaigrette. When I go there, you can do for me that I will eat with great taste hehehee.

They look delicious those beans are similar to those that prepare in my country, only here they call "Caraotas" Btw parties have been very interesting especially the victory of Mexico vs Germany that I did not expect

Today I spent half of the day in church, celebrating father's day here in Venezuela, and everyone shouted, congratulated and it was a great day, but as your dear @exyle, the noise was tremendous, but we had it very well between brothers and friends, I do not want to imagine you all there, celebrating that party, and with that delicious food, even more excitement, congratulations for that group of friends so spectacular they have, greetings to Bianca, and congratulate her for that good meal Greetings dear @exyle

I remembered this, it was so saddened then. I believe big name doesn't have the answer to this World Cup show . Imaging team like Germany, Argentina and even Brazil couldn't win there first match Argentina and Brazil had to settle draw while Germany slumped to a defeat.
An excellent dish for the holiday of football, my friend and I am sure that the Feijoada turned out very tasty and pleased you all on this day. I'm also very sorry that Brazil lost points in the first game, they were favorites in this match and was confident that Brazil will win, but football is in many ways and I hope that the next games will please me, you and your friends! I can't remember a World Cup tournament where the Netherlands didn't play. I can't believe they didn't qualify for this one!
