#How does Experty Work?

As the world’s first peer to peer platform for paid consultation, Experty makes paid consultations possible using a voice and video application similar to Skype. Due to its simple interface, even those unfamiliar with blockchain technology will feel comfortable using the application. All of the transactions are done using blockchain technology seamlessly and effortlessly in the background. Experty’s plans for product launch are outlined in the official whitepaper.

To gain clients around the world, a knowledge provider can share an Experty link to his or her existing social media profiles. A potential client can then follow the link and call the knowledge provider using the platform. The knowledge provider can set their rate in advance, and display their available schedule. Once a call is initiated, payment is settled automatically using an Ethereum smart contract. Experty aims to be the “Uber” of consulting, letting users set their own terms of when and how they want to work.

Experty opens the door for anyone to seek or provide knowledge on their own terms, without the expensive middleman. Consultations no longer have to be a hassle to set up. Nor do the two parties have to trust each other entirely. With transactions taken care of seamlessly by a smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain, no one has to wonder if they will actually get paid, or demand money for consulting they haven’t yet provided.

Experty brings inclusion to those who are currently unable to access the system due to restrictions, lack of channels and platforms needed to reach an audience, and a way to receive and settle payments. It is estimated that there are over 2 billion people that still do not have access to traditional banking systems and are unable to gain economically from trade and commerce. The demo shows a list of experts on your contact list. You can select an expert to view their professional profile and a brief description regarding their skills.

You can press the call button to call the selected professional. Once the call is finished you can view the call duration, the total amount paid, and provide feedback by rating the professional. It’s easy, convenient, and efficient. Anyone can use the app to get the advice of a professional. This will certainly be a game changer in the world of consulting, as it empowers people to join the platform. By the end of Q2 2018 the team hopes to have the app launched.
