We got some nice rain few days ago. All the balcony plants got a proper shower without me doing the work. How awesome is that? :)
Out of all the plants those little succulent rosettes look the nicest. The rest are just like some wet chickens.
This is the most blue Echeveria I have. I don't have a full name, but it is blue and it is gorgeous!
Those plants are smart little things. They have their leaves covered in very fine dust like powder. Mainly to protect them from harsh sun. But check how the water sits on the leaves. Like on some greasy surface. You can just shake the plant and the water is gone and leaves are dry. Not only sun protection, but also water.
Echeverai Perle von Nurnberg is one of the largest with wide, bowl like leaves and stunning purple colour.
Last but not least - a furry Echeveria Pilosa. This one is bulletproof! No water, lots of sun and she is fine :) Also any leaf that accidentally detaches will form another plant. Grew some like that already and gave them away. Not only I am happy with it now.
Now I am just waiting for more rain.
I wont have to water the plants until spring :))
