MonoMad Wednesday: Abstract - Twigs
I kept walking to the Burned area checking on what was left. Some pine cones and larger seed pods were still hanging on the tree, all black now. Surpringly the strong winter winds didnt manage to throw them down.
All the bushes with thicker stems were like black, tangled wires sticking out from the soil. No more leaves, no more flowers...
Warm, sunny day and singing birds almost don't fit here.

I really like the simplicity of this shot. I have a similar shot somewhere of a little tangle of bracken after the rain. I am sorry to hear this place was burned out.
Sometimes the simple and ugly things come one the best on photos :)
