BTC update 28.12.17
I don't know how to express this correctly in english, but I think BTC has blabbed (if that is the correct word, I mean giving a sign what it wants to do next...)
This cannot be white wave 4 correction because it has gone way to deep, so I am going full bullish again on BTC.
Instead, this is the new count, to keep an eye on:
As a TA, you need to be able to adjust your view, when the chart gives you a hint.
In my opinion the probabilities now favor a big rise in BTC soon, because whenever a bearish pattern is negated, there tends to be strong bullish movements afterwards... at least in cryptos you can observe this pattern regularly.

Lucky I didn't sell my alt-coins or else I would have sold near a bottom. I'm HODLing mainly NEO, MCO, BTS, EOS and bits of other coins like Waves, ETH, EVX. Too bad I could have optimized my profits more with more active day trading. But at least I learnt a bunch of stuff on the internet. So the knowledge should compensate for the loss of potential profits.
I just hope the Alts will have better percentage gains. These are the times that make me feel good about passive income like Waves lease, NEO GAS and my steemit earnings. I'm not a big diversification fan. But at times it's very important.
Agree, we have to go up again, the fundamentals are still goed (Wallstreet, Lightnign Network, Rootstock, ect.!
I bet it will go upward. I am investing in Bitcoins from 2012 and i have 27.482781 btc in my bittrex wallet. And always a well wisher of Bitcoin because i have a lot. LOL.

Then you are a lucky man! I wish I had started investing in BTC in 2012... I would consider not leaving it all in the bittrex wallet, because if somebody manages to hack into the bittrex wallet, it will be gone (at least parts of it, because they keep some of it in offline paper wallets, but of course they need to be liquid)

It is possible. They have very good security measures though, but your 2FA only protects your account. If they hack the main wallet of bittrex, your 2FA doesn't protect you. This happened on other exchanges like mt.gox and some smaller ones.
It is not very likely, but I would never keep all my funds on an exchange. Actually they exist for exchanging, but people are lazy and want to spare transaction costs, so they put all eggs in one basket...
Don't be afraid. If you have a safe at home, you could keep some BTC on a paper wallet.
I am no expert for wallets, but I prefer paper.
I am not saying bittrex will be hacked soon or anytime... But if you were a hacker, one of the biggest wallets surely seems a good target. It is always good to have some awareness, not fear. Fear is just a stupid emotion leftover from the beginning of mankind. In todays world, we don't need to be afraid to get eaten by a saber-tooth-tiger.
I will transfer my 14 btc to kraken soon. I have accounts in bittrex and kraken only.
I think i would need to create accounts in other exchanges too.
Best to buy a hardware wallet. They are very cheap - $99.
You can use a hardware wallet for Bitcoin like Trezor or Ledger. Very easy to use and there has been no instances where Bitcoins have been stolen from them. Good luck.
Buy a Ledger ASAP! My first thought is that what you are doing is very dangerous! If they are hacked then they will file for bankruptcy and you will never see your BTC again!

Are u really sure. I converted some of my BTCs to ripples yesterday. I bought for 0.00079 btc and now its 0.000082 btc. When will you advise me to convert them back to btc?
I cannot give investment advise. This needs to be 100% your own (hopefully well informed) choice.
I can only tell you what I am doing. Right now the value of my ripple holdings is double the value of my BTC holdings. This is because in the time BTC doubles, ripple in my opinion will likely go 4-5x.

Definitely HODL your Ripple. It's been holding strong whilst Bitcoin has been going through a bipolar episode. Increments has been small but it's made it's way into the top 6 with great confidence. New announcements 2018 said to boost it's price too.
