Evolved08gsr's Travel Life - 2018 - Week 4
Welcome to My Travel Life!

This is my 4th Travel Week this year. Considering that this is the 7th week of the year, I'm off to a good start for not being on an airplane every week!
Most weeks, I am traveling somewhere on a plane for work. This means that I'm accruing some Frequent Flyer miles, Hotel Points, and Amex Points "for free".
What it also means is that I'm losing out on time with my wife and son. Oh, and don't forget to add in the extra solar radiation!
Don't get me wrong, as a young, single professional, travel for work is an amazing adventure! I wouldn't have traded my early travel years for anything. I was able to see so many different cities in the US that I never would have been able to afford or had the courage to visit solo.
I say solo because at the time, most of my friends didn't have the same income or budget as I did, and I was more concerned about saving for the future than enjoying the present. I feel like there should be a balance between my young mindset of saving and the mindset of those who are carefree with their spending. There is emperical evidence proving that saving (investing) money at a young age allows you to spend more at an older age due to compounding interest. There is also an observation that you can only enjoy being "young and stupid" for so long before you get "too old" and the lifestyle catches up with you.

Enjoy life to the fullest. Know that there is no right and wrong in how you decide to take your journey. Enjoy every moment and make the best of your current situation. Even when you do something so often, understand that you are experiencing something unique each time that you do it. Not everyone will have the same experience as you, even if they're doing the same thing.
I hope you enjoyed stopping by. The photos are my original content from my flight today.
Well said, when you are younger everything seems to be easier. But every year we get to be a little wiser and we cherish time. Last year I turned 30 and finally gathered the courage to catch a final train of my childhood dream. It was that one day I'll travel for more that a week in the neighbouring country in the summer. Well, no better time than present to enjoy life.
I like the second photo, at first I wasn't sure if it is sea or the sky 😆
Thanks! :)
Yeah, the 2nd photo is between two sets of clouds. I liked the different perspective compared to the first photo (without the sun). There was a little bit of turbulence, but it was a mostly smooth ride. When you get multiple layers of cloud cover, I've noticed that there is a considerable increase in the amount / likelihood of turbulence.
I'm glad you were able to fulfill a childhood dream by taking that train! I'm in my early 30s as well :)
