March 15, 2019 - First Consult
I failed to submit an actifit post yesterday because I didn't do any activity at all. I just stayed at home, watched tv, and spent my time on the computer.
Today, John and I left home early to drive all the way to Adelaide. We had our first consultation with a fertility specialist. The doctor discussed our options. One is ovulation induction therapy and the other one is the IVF. We have 6 weeks to think about what our decision is going to be before our next meeting with the specialist, which is on 1st May 2019.
John and I have been married for almost 7 years now and we still haven't had any luck. In February we had false alarm. It turned out it was a normal period and not a miscarriage.
This time we need to make a definite decision regarding our future. I am not getting any younger. I am actually closer to 40 than I am to 30 so in reality, time is not on our side. The clock is ticking!
After our consult, we went to Bunnings in Parafield and did some quick shopping. I like this branch. It's huge and there are just so many things I'd like to buy from here. I am pretty sure it is John's most favourite shop.
You have a lot to think about. My thoughts and prayers are with you you and John.
