Zherebyatievo

Zherebyatievo - a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region. It is part of the Samotovinsky rural settlement. The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 5 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Novator is 3 km. According to the 2002 census, the population is 56 people.

This village can be called a suburb of Veliky Ustyug. Here, individual construction is actively developing, but old houses that preserve the atmosphere of the village have been preserved.

There is, of course, one abandoned house, but this is rather the exception.

The roads in the village are dirty but passable. In the fall, all dirt roads become wet. The situation is not better in the city, and sometimes even worse.

The most interesting thing in this photo is not the rickety canopy for the well, but the birch, which is on the right. Several medium-sized birches emerge from one trunk.

Zherebyatievo is on the banks of the Sukhona River. The streets in the village are located both parallel and perpendicular to the river.

Good in those places where the external historical appearance has been preserved.

Even mud and puddles will not be able to spoil the general impression of a village in which people are not mutilated at home. Shabby by time does not count!

Nearby is the village of Medenitsyno. I would even say that there is almost no border between them. Is that the descent to the river somehow divides these villages.
