The old pier
In the Vologda microdistrict of Nizhniy Posad on Soviet Avenue near the Vologda River there is an old river station.
The strangest building, as it turned out, is not at all old.
It was built relatively recently, but the construction process stopped and dragged on for several years.
In the background is the Church of Kirill Belozersky in Roschenye.
The section of Soviet Avenue from Pushkin Street to the river station was formerly called Roschenye.
These are mainly pleasure boats.
I especially like Soviet avenue in this place.
This street in ancient times served as the Moscow tract.
And then there is a mono-hospital for patients with covid...and a prison.
But this does not spoil the impression of this beautiful street in the least.
