The Dilapidated City - 6

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

There are puddles on the roads, no festive mood and I still continue to walk through the wooden quarters in the center of the city and take pictures of the outgoing in the past.

It seemed strange to me that this house is not on the map. Yes, Yandex.maps in the form of schemes say that here is empty. I think that this will happen in the next year or two.

On the map from the satellite the house is poorly visible. Perhaps the compilers of the map considered that it is a shed, and perhaps this house has already been deleted from the general layout of the city.

Another ghost house. In summer people still lived there.

And this is my favorite October lane.

It is slightly dark, gloomy, but cozy because of tall trees.

Almost from any point of the alley can be seen the illuminated Transfiguration church.

And you can also see the Assumption Cathedral, which is located in a completely different direction.

The house is also resettled. Have you noticed how often I say the word "resettled"? And maybe someone count? In no one year has there been such a massive resettlement from dilapidated and emergency housing, as in 2017!

If you walk along Red Street, then this is every third house. I'm worried about the question: what's next?

And how many such houses are on the verge of resettlement...

Well, really, what's next? All houses will closed and the whole city center will be empty and there will be a constant threat of fire or collapse. As I recall, houses always grow old, burn, collapse, resettle. But these are isolated cases that do not occur and are taken for granted. Now such mass character can not be overlooked.

To be continued...
