The Dilapidated City. Unrelated and Subtotal
Dilapidated houses in Veliky Ustyug, I have already reviewed everything. I can breathe for a while with relief that at least in my photographs there will be that ancient image of the city, which is loved by tourists and some locals.
In the Cooperative Lane, I accidentally discovered a very old house, which is more than 120 years old. Very strange, but the passage to it is thoroughly cleaned of snow. Is it still somehow used?
There are no more such old houses in this area.
In the Friendly Lane there is one two-storeyed apartment barrack.
The rest of the houses are the most ordinary.
As it is now accepted - the dormitory, converted into private apartments.
Another such thing happens: a brick barrack.
Between the dormitory and the brick barrack there is an old dilapidated barn, which is still used by the inhabitants of these houses.
Somewhere in the depths of the quarter a very old five-wall house was seen, which is rare for the city center.
Between the garages you can go to the next street. I like that!
Winter-spring night city landscape.
The project Dilapidated City can be considered close to completion. There were still some houses scattered around the city, but over time I would photograph them. It remains to wait for the next wave of mass dilapidating of houses and their resettlement, followed by demolition. For now I work on the district.
