Report of June. 25th SPIEF

This year I also had SPIEF - St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. But if last year I was at the maximum peak of my creative abilities (and, it seems, also physical), this time I was more relaxed and was able to shoot for myself.

Immediately felt the creative wave, which I am now.

I tried to maintain a reportage style, but the influence of street photography was very strong.

Since this is my second forum, the "Wow" effect was gone.

Everything was familiar to me and in the end I was already walking, yawning boringly.

But the profession obliges to produce pictures at a high level, regardless of perception and mood.

I went to the forum immediately after my vacation, which was quite the opposite last year.

It was no longer the main event of the year for me.

It is unfortunate that due to the long rains and the peculiarities of the work schedule, I was not able to shoot Petersburg itself.

And after the vacation there was some kind of depressive attitude towards the surrounding reality.

It seems to me that at SPIEF you can make the same pictures every year, as soon as the year in the name of the forum changes.

Last year I made the best, in my opinion, picture of a genre character from a forum...and by a smartphone!

There was nothing outstanding this year.

Only routine, only working moments.

In general, I got the feeling that I went in vain.

Again, it's because I didn't look at Petersburg.

And at the forum itself, to be honest, it was somehow less interesting than in 2021.

Well, what happened, that happened.

Last year, I didn't seem to show pictures from the forum.

I think that in this they turned out to be a little more genreous.
