December in Veliky Ustyug in 2012

Not so long ago I introduced you to the postcard views of the Veliky Ustyug and at the same time with relatively early photographic works. Today I want to show a more later beautiful winter views of this wonderful city.

It was snowing in Vologda only today, and Veliky Ustyug had winter long time. Warm weather, of course, brought its own corrections, but the climate there is still more severe and the winter was able to survive.

December in 2012 turned out to be very frosty, with a lot of hoarfrost.

And the river was frozen from an average height by ice hummocks.

That's where the real winter was! Frosts under -30 degrees!

There are all kinds of winters: warm, snowy, frosty. I saw all the possible winters.

Frosty winter is the most beautiful!

Snowy winter is also good, but it is cloudy.

But winter with thaws is the most unattractive.

This year, with winter, no luck.

But there is a photograph. She acts as a guide to the past. Looking at these frosty photographs, I recall those days and feel the frost burning the airways.
