Belozersk. Around the rampart-2

Almost the entire city of Belozersk can be viewed from the old rampart. Locals use it for walks, morning jogging, and relaxation. I noticed such a banal pattern: if the city is old, then it is necessarily good in it!

Sometimes I feel good in workers' settlements of the barrack type, therefore in such ancient cities as Belozersk, Totma, Ustyuzhna, Veliky Ustyug it can never be bad!

These cities usually have all the landscape delights such as elevation changes, water features, ancient architecture, chaotic street layout and rich history.

Belozersk is on my special account, like all the other ancient cities of the Vologda region.

I will explain again. As a child, my favorite book was a small brochure with color illustrations called "Treasures of the Vologda Land". I flipped through it very often.

That book contained all the cities that I listed above, plus or minus a couple more, I may have missed, but not the point.

With the help of those illustrations, I already knew how to mentally travel to different places.

Perhaps this is one of the main reasons I became a photographer.

In that book, my favorite city was Belozersk, the pictures of which I relooked with particular interest.

Now imagine with what pleasure and trepidation I walk around Belozersk in reality!

Most importantly, almost all the views and sensations from the book coincide with reality.

There is such an expression as a place of power.

So they are different for everyone, you just need to succumb to feelings and emotions, and if it pins, then this is your one of the places of power.

I will return to the rampart, but for now there are still a lot of places to go around.

I go down from the shaft. The height is decent. Probably in winter there is an incredible feeling of riding down the slide on tubings.

Well, now I want to go to Belozersk in winter...
