Walk in a National Park
Yesterday we decided to brace the weather and drive out to a national park not too far from the countryside home. We figured that if it rains all through the day, we can drink tea and have pancakes inside a hut, and if not, we can do a little hike.
It was pouring rain as we arrived, but soon the weather settles for a little while and we risked it to walk the shortest route around a lake in a bog. We got really lucky as we made it through relatively dry and it only started raining heavily again when we already safely under a roof.
My aunt had her chow chow with her and this one is a lively thing so I was very concerned how it would behave having to walk along a wooden path. Any steps outside of the path would be very wet and possibly you'd end up sinking all the way to your knees in the soft bog. The dog would be fine with its four paws, but who ever would be holding the leash, might have more trouble trying to stay balanced on a slippery wooden path. Luckily the dog behaved really well and all we had to do was try and keep up with its pace.
We had a really lovely time out in the nature, even though the weather was less than perfect. At least there weren't any bugs because it was so rainy. I took a few shots along the way, but I only had my little camera with me, and I have been concentrating on the social life these past days, instead of hiding behind my camera all the time. Just fast snaps to show you guys what is up in here, hope you like it.
Shot with the Fujifilm x100f.

Nice pics as always Evelyn. I find peace and a great deal of comfort when out in the wilderness away from other people. I feel like I can hear myself better. Probably makes me sound like a wanker I guess but there it is. Of course often when I'm out and about I'm also hearing the sound of gunfire...That has a certain comfort too I suppose.
Anyway I hope you're well...Moi moi. 😊😁🇦🇺🇫🇮

Looks like a nice stroll there and well managed. In the UK National Trust would charge you a least a £5 to park near a walk like that haha 💯🐒
Hahaha that is one of the best things in the countryside, you can drive where ever and park where ever.
I know I always get people to park in laybys and they want to pay as we are told to. The money goes to maintaining the walks hilarious maintaining nature the mind boggles haha 💯🐒
