The Knot
First image from my shoot with Suvi Sievilä is out! I bet ya’ll been waiting for it as much as I have.
This was the last pose for the shoot, at around 11pm on a Tuesday night. I had done this pose as a self portrait two years ago and Suvi saw it and loved it so we decided to recreate it. I am not at all flexible and was getting a bit tired already but when we started working on this pose, I really wanted to give it my best. I think I twisted myself to this pose about ten times, doing minor adjustments like pointing fingers, toes, different head position, making everything straight and level as possible, all while trying to stay knotted and not slip off the stool that was now covered with baby oil. It was all worth it in the end.
I think we really nailed the shot and my narsissistic ass wants to have this black and white version as a big print on my wall.
I surprisingly love the colour in this one more! I can see more of the person (you) in that shot, in the B&W you're just a figure and your face is so dark it could've been anyone. The gold and brown works really well <3

En B&W, la photo est plus dynamique. Vous ressemblez à une sculpture moderne avec un peu de Giacometti.
En couleur, je trouve les ombres sur votre peau magnifique. Le choix du cubre couleur chair est vraiment excellent.

I knew I had to include the colour version because some of you prefer colour.
B&W preferred.
It’s more dynamic isn’t it?
What I paid attention is the light and the shadows. The B&W version draws your eyes to that aspect of the picture, which is the most important one here. The colors distract the viewer from that. The image is more impactful without colors.
Already saw it on the gram, and dang! So excited to see you do collabs like this. Personally, I like the color one. But I know your heart would choose the black and white version.
Color is better for the masses 😀

I once got myself tied into a knot resembling a pretzel in a lamentable yoga incident that I'd rather forget.
I didn't look quite as graceful as yourself of course @evenuncovered
Also, I agree with @celestal the B&W is legit.
