Teenage Angst Flash Photography Rehearsals
This is not Photoshopped. You know how I made it? It's pretty simple really.
Pitch black room, camera on tripod, manual focus, aperture f16, iso 100, shutter 5 seconds, flash clicked manually five times while simultaneously moving the hand every second.
Simple yet it took me probably 30 tries before I got everything at least somewhat symmetrical. Everything had to align perfectly and flash go off at the right time for the photo to work.
This picture is to represent my distaste towards using a flash. Could also be my teenage angst surfacing. Or album cover art.
I'm just so amazed that the camera can capture the continuum of time! it is just mind blowing when you think about it. <3
Yeah it’s pretty crazy what you can actually fit in one frame!
We've actually taken it for granted and we don't even notice the freakishness of camera's actions! dude that's some time machine activity shit! :O
