Super Random Update from the Countryside

I’m not done with all the posts from Mexico, but as I am currently in the countryside of Finland for Christmas, there will be a mix of winter wonderland posts and exotic Mexico ones.

This is a taste of what the past day has looked like since I arrived here yesterday, and it’s been pretty fun with the family so I haven’t had time to be in the blockchain. I have a lot of food prep to do and some gift things to take care of, but I’ll try to fit in time to do proper posts too, and to take winter wonderland pictures if we get some sun tomorrow.

The first thing I see when I walked in to our homehome:

Didn’t even ask but apparently the upstairs toilet is being replased just before Christmas. Things like these are totally normal in this household, never a dull day.

I ordered something bitcoin related and it came with a few magazines that are from 2013 and 2014, but I earmarket a few articles for mom to read. Something along the lines of ”Bitcoin for dummies.”

I promised to take care of cooking for the Christmas time and I started with ready made pea soup. Didn’t promise I’d be making anything good 😝 But no worries, I have a roast in the oven and red wine sauce to go with it for todays dinner.

This is the most traditional box of chocolates in Finland for Christmas, we have five boxes and I dug into the first one immediately.

Finally something I put up for those who have a tendency to get stressed for Christmas; bubble wrap!
