Road To Steemfest - Melting the Ice

Only a couple days until Steemfest 3 officially begins! Some of the early birds are already scouting out the city, while the rest of us pack and start our way to Krakow.

I'm a little late to this last Road to Steemfest post, but I at least I get it done before I actually start my physical trip. It's been such a fun thing to write every week and connect with other Steemians who I get to finally meet soon. Thank you @anomadsoul for setting us all up to get to know each other a little before we actually meet in real life!

I'm not off the hook completely yet, because for the last Road to Steemfest post, Anomad is making us reveal some pretty intimate stuff...

1.- Tell us your most embarrassing moment in life. It doesn´t matter if it was when you were 6 years old or if it was last week. Come on, open up.

This is going to be so cringe worthy.... I got a little story about something that happened a few years ago, a very embarrassing story that involves blood and sex. If you are easily disgusted, just skip ahead.

Soooo, I had this friends-with-benefits kind of situation with a guy, the benefit part being quite new at this point. We were hooking up and it was all good, until the guy pointed out that I'm bleeding all over him. I was on top of him, and the lighting was really dim, so we didn't notice until there was a huge mess. Both of our parts all bloody and the sheets too.

I wish I had been stabbed or something, but nope, I got my period while having sex. Which was very unexpected because I was on the pill at that time, and I always knew when my period would come, and that day was nowhere near. That was probably my body giving its final notice that I need to stop taking pills, and I did.

There is just something very very embarrassing about having to change sheets in the middle of the night because you bled all over them. Way to kill the mood. We definitely did not finish that session. If that were to happen to me now, I think I could laugh it off and suggest that we finish in the shower, but at that time, it was the most embarrassing thing ever.

2.- If you were stranded in a deserted island with 3 Steem Fest attendees, who would they be and why? (Thanks @abh12345 for this one).

My first pick is easy, @escapist of course, my partner in crime! Together we would figure out the way to get off the island, unless we decide that it's much better out there and decide to stay. But for theme being, I think we would require some slaves/guards/entertainment. Being on a deserted island, I think we would go for some male specimens, you know, to open coconuts and fend off attackers. I think @abh12345 and @roelandp would do very well in a deserted island, and neither is an eye sore, which is always a plus.

3.- As thumbnail of your post, make a funny face. Then, other Steemians can meme your picture :D A billion extra points for those making funny memes in other people´s posts.

4.- If you had one superpower (any superpower), what would it be, why, and how would you use it during Steem Fest?

Hmm, so many powers to choose from. I think I would stick to something I have a natural talent for, and amp it up, the powers of persuasion. If that wasn't a superpower before, it is now. It would come very handy if I had the ability to make people do things for me, or tell me secrets. I would have someone carry my purse, bring me cocktails and reveal their private(s) keys, of course. Maybe sign me as the beneficiary on their will too.

5.- If you had to pick one Steemian for a summer fling story, who would it be? We don´t care if you are married or in a relationship, this is just for shits and giggles and to break the ice. (Thanks @eveuncovered for this one) Bonus points, tequila shots and a 100% vote from me to whoever answers this question.

I don't usually share, but this time I might have to, because just like @escapist, I would be interested in having a summer fling with @berniesanders. If nothing else, it would make for a great damn story!

There you have it, my final entry tot he Road to Steemfest writing initiative, and the day after tomorrow, we all get to meet each other finally! Can't wait for the awkwardness, drinks to get over the awkwardness and the insane amount of laughs and inside jokes we will have.
