My road to Steemfest has started and I'm currently in Hellsinki. I took the morning bus here, so I could walk around touristing for a few hours, before Escapist got off work. The weather was miserably grey, but the city was super quiet so I had good time walking around with my camera. I walked around the harbour area and finally made my way for Esc's workplace for a coffee and waiting for her to get off. After that we got some last minute shopping done, aka more dry shampoo, and then a nice dinner out. Now we are chatting, packing and having gin and tonic(s) at her place. Tomorrow morning we are leaving for Krakow!

This was the first time testing out Fujifilm X100F for street photography, though I didn't take many pictures of people yet. I'm still learning to use it, but I really like it! I did have to go in a buy another battery for it, because the battery life in a mirrorless camera sucks! I'm used to having a Nikon crop sensor camera and I can easily go for a day in a half of shooting a lot without the battery runs out, the Fuji will last for half a day. Jesus that thing costs me a pretty penny, but I am not taking any risks of running out of battery in the middle of the day.

I'm being pretty adventurous and mixing black&white and coloured photography in the same post. I like to live on the wild side!
