Film Noir Fantasy
Ever so often, I like to entertain myself, and you in the process, with the fantasy of living my life in a 20's Hollywood film noir movie. I can't act to save my life, but I think with a little more training, I could pose like the best of them.
How I long to be transported to a time way before me, preferably into a role of an upper class lady who drinks out of the sole reason for being so darn bored. I think I would play the part well.
Out of that boredom, she starts to entertain herself with a plan to get herself a position as a spy. In secret from her husband, her parents and her best girlfriends, she puts the plan in motion.

I, too, often long for the past, though I usually go a bit further back than the 1920's where the most daring one would Dare to be, if an upper class lady, would be bare shoulders at the opera or wearing your bustled walking skirt just high enough to show off your new hand made kid button boots. :)
I love those shoes! I have shoes like these too and I consider them only when I am getting in and out of a taxi/car straight into entertainment, as they are not wonderful for walking too far. But, they always make one feel so elegant.
Oh what a rebel you are!
They are such sexy shoes, and makes one feel like a million bucks, but yeah, somewhat impossible to walk more than a few meters, or stand more than a few minutes. Isn't it interesting how something so torturous can make one feel and look so damn sexy?

The black and white works well! Every Saturday here in California Turner Classic Movies has "Noir Alley Night" I've been watching it lately and it's really cool especially from a photography aspect. Sometimes i just turn the sound off and watch it for the images without any distractions. You could really do a lot with this theme!
