I guess Thailand is also a good place to do business, it is advancing really fast.

I had a very small business in thailand from 2002 -6/7 - a pain in the butt! lolol (if you don't speak the language)

maybe in 2002 it was way different than now, Thailand is really improving (the ease of doing business), Thailand is at the 6th position after : Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia; (source : the World Bank)
call me mr. cynical - but the world banks endorsement/figures and 'ease of doing business', just mean corporate corruption is easier.
I know many farang that would disagree (small business owners).

there is the bx exchange platform https://bx.in.th/ , you can transfer to your "thai" bank account.
have you ever used them? - there are 2 or 3 others- but not heard any report off people...?
