A Killer Ap for Steem

................................................................................................................................................................

I'm sure that everyone reading this has heard (or said )

"Steem is UNFAIR..."

"I can't make any money here"

"Mean Whales"

or some such drivel.

I wonder...do gamers say that? Do they whine and complain because they don't make enough points to claim the prize?

I'm not into games. I understand that they are VERY popular...but from what I understand in computer gaming it's not the destination so much as the journey.

SO.

Why not do the same thing on Steem?

Why not have an onramp (similar to Steemit, Busy, ChainBB or Utopia) that concentrates on GAMES? Or better yet...have an onramp for EACH game. Imagine something on the order Resident Evil, Yakuza, For Honor, ....or some other type of games (I know nothing of games...I'm just picking them at random..there are a LOT of them aren't there?)

Imagine that instead (or in addition to) winning points (or whatever is won)...SP is won instead? Imagine that at the end of a game (it may take weeks to complete) you have a nice bundle of STEEM POWER...just from playing. The amount of your stash would depend on (_insert details here_) how well and how long you played.

Like I said....I'm no gamer..but it seems like a golden (emphasis on cash_) opportunity. Video Games on the BlockChain...

MOST ESPECIALLY if it involves the latest technology such as virtual reality.

I hear you @everittdmickey

I could see xbox playstation or pc online competition like they do already but have but somebody would have to monitor and delegate the WINNER of the game with STEEM, SP, or SBD. Maybe a screen shot of the winner of the game and would be voted on and approved?

I dunno...I'm not a gamer. Neve played.
but those are details...Something could be done..

I had the nephews and nieces use STEEM to keep score sending STEEM back and forth to each other before.

@everittdmickey on every platform (and really everywhere in life) you will find your moaners constantly looking for something to complain about. Its hard to avoid them, and they are the worst when money is involved.

I agree there has been a big increase in popularity of video games, somehow implementing this with the steemit blockchain sounds like a cool idea! I have no idea how though... Some sort of community backed with investors to reward these gamers could be a good start.

Greetings @everittdmickey! Do you think Steemit has what it takes to be one of the top 10 global social media platforms?

We do! Are you willing to help us do what it takes to fix steemits vulnerabilities so we can bring this platform to the mainstream?

I represent an media alliance with over 10 million followers. We see that steemit needs a few small, but very important changes to make it to the next level.

Please share your solutions with us! And help us attract the attention of steem developers. Share your wisdom and thoughts with us at

Together, we will bring steem to the Mainstream!

we already have a community backed with investors.
all we need is an app.

Playing for money...
If Steem manages to do that we will soon have a professional gamer scene here on Steemit (which will increase Seems popularity a lot).

I really like your idea.

I've seen quite a few posts and comments lately on this exact subject.
Sure I read the post but didn't feel the need to comment. I keep posting, continue to comment and trudging along writing. Eventually it'll all come together for me.
No sense in complaining; even if I felt slighted, which I don't. Steemit, as with all successes in life, require dedication and

Have been thinking about a bit similar idea for the SteemPi tv-box project, started thinking about it when working on adding Retropie (retro game console emulation). RetroPie makes it possible to play a lot of old games and it also have support for online "netplay" of the games. i didnt look into the netplay part. to much other things that need to be done first for the project, but i did find a discord server where people ask to play old console games in multiplayer online with RetroPie and Netplay.

it would be awesome to have a Steem powered game lobby where people can challenge other users for a game of Mario kart, or Street fighter, Bomberman etc.

Gamers probably love a challenge like this and this way could generate a return for there efforts they put into there favorite (classic/) games.

Wow guy
How are today,i think you will good .
I want to ask something, please reply me.
Thanks friend.

Well, with the SMT, in theory, I guess you could setup a game like Fallout Shelter where that beyond earning coins to move through the game, you could make Super Coins by unlocking achievements that would create an SMT.

I'm sure someone will incorporate cyrptocurrency into gaming sooner or later.

Ive said the same thing. Maybe insread of the game based on steem its based on an smt. And instead of the game rewarding virtual currency it rewards crypto currency.

Now that's a great idea. Imagine if instead of gold, Warcraft players used Steem. Everyone would sit there mining ore for hours.

@swolesome has just begun something much like this. Check her recent posts.

I just checked it out (and followed)...looks interesting.
