POW WAH enumerated in the Constitution.

Enumerated Powers
Explain, please, where in ANY of the Powers Enumerated in Article I Section 8 people find a Power delegated to the Legislative Branch to take the fruits of my labor and deliver it (other than as wages for fairly contracted services) to other citizens? (And if you're STUPID enough to mistake the phrase "general welfare of the United States" for "welfare programs benefiting individuals", then PLEASE do us ALL the favor of keeping your abysmal illiteracy to yourself ...):

Here's the way I see it...each amendment takes precedence
over every amendment before it and the body of the constitution.
For example..the tenth amendment modifies the commerce clause.
It should be understood as.
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States,
and with the Indian Tribes;"
insofar that
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution,
nor prohibited by it to the States,
are reserved to the States respectively,
or to the people.
So that means they can 'regulate'
At the time the meaning of that word meant,
to make sure it operates smoothly
(like Exlax..to be regular)
...no interference...no bottle necks.
Obviously the DOT, the FCC, the EPA,
and all the other alphabet agencies that take it upon themselves
make laws impeding commerce and are doing the exact opposite.
They are making commerce MUCH more difficult
.
(yeah...but)
.
The same would apply to the 'supremacy clause'
in other words Federal Law should be supreme if and only if it is constitutional.
That, however is theoretical
The reality is
Government is not reason, it is not eloquence — it is force.
Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master;
never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.
and
A government that is powerful enough to give you everything you want
is also powerful enough to take everything you have,
including your life.
.
in other words...it's all pretty wurds.
When push comes to shove.
.
Might Makes Right
just like it always has
you can't fight city hall
if you try
they kill you.
.
That's why the second amendment is so important
Make them think about it first.

nice post
Nice post. Even if they could legally TAX you the form of tax which they impose is actually not legally permitted by the Constitution Pre-Amendment.
Though how they have chosen to hijack every bolded example you listed is pretty amazing.
As far as REGULATE.
I like to write about HIJACKED words. I guess that is a really important one I never thought about. Thanks for bringing it up.
It does mention one of my favorite hijacked words PIRACY. For apparently copying a digital file is now the same as Piracy. I sure don't feel like I am raping someone, pinning them to a mast and throwing and anchor over the rail with their entrails attached to it whenever I torrent a file.
I'd say REGULATE may very well be a word they hijacked much earlier that they are using to justify the further corruption and manipulation of all the rest.
no doubt words have and are hijacked.
I think piracy deserves some more consideration though
while it's true that if you copy something you have taken anything from someone in that he still has what he had originally....
...you have taken future earning potential away from him.
hence by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;
.
seems pretty simple
a clear violation of Constitutional rights.
Theft and Piracy were two different things I believe. Kind of like there is a difference between assault and murder. I never said copying was good, I just do not equate it with the word Piracy.
oh I agree.
