Most Votes are made by 'Bots
I wonder how many comments are made by 'bots too?

Almost all the one liner's I suspect.
Human social interactions are very complicated to understand, programming a bot to understand something we can't, I don't think it is achievable with our current tech, that's why they only stop at one liner's, but I gotta admit it is pretty funny when a bot comments something so unrelated to the topic that looks so silly, yet we still do not the realize that they are in fact a problem for Steemit.
Bots send same message over and over again, I am back from having negative bandwidth, can post again :D
get more SP and you'll be past that problem pretty soon.
you right though...when I see the same comment over and over I mute the commenter assuming it's a bot.
whenever I see a comment that has nothing to do with the post..
or..
a generic..
same thing..
mute..

I wonder how many bots can down vote? How many bots trade sbd to steem when the prices dip?

giving a 'bot the ability to down vote would be like giving a two year old a loaded machine gun.
If I invite them , it is perfectly ok, there is one that is extra entertaining (cleverbot) because it can 'talk' ( I would rather to have one that can tell jokes hehehe) , other than that these things usually seed commercials which is not a big difference from the TV commercials.
yup...not a big difference from TV commericials. If I wanted to see Ad's I'd watch TV. I came to steemit to avoid them.
Love the bot comments that have NOTHING to do with anything!!!
yup..they are inherently deceitful and dishonest. The only reason a bot is programmed to comment is to get a vote. I mute them whenever I see them.
I think there is Sir. Not sure how they can do that. But I have observe by reading different posts that there are messages that are commented that are really far from the topic. I think they are.
once someone comes up with a clever enough bot we will all be out of the job
in the very near future the only thing 'bots won't be able to do is innovate.
we should be so lucky, but that is the whole idea of these emerging AI, they have had one for years capable of inventing new designs for things like toothbrushes and weapons. Once it knows what a toothbrush is it can come up with 1000 new designs and then even pick the best ten from that to show to people, scary. They have music and poetry ones, even one that writes fiction! perhaps that is what CNN has been using.
"inventing new designs" is a misnomer.
optimizing existing designs (most likely with a LOT of human 'help') is more accurate.

Many real humans leave short messages,
some are ok if you know the people and get
along with a -hey that's cool.- once in awhile.
But it sure would be nice if they put in a little
effort to say more. A short message and no vote
gets old. Tho been seeing more getting nailed.
