Making the Problem Worse
City officials “hope the slowdown is temporary,”
.....................................................................................................................................
but that hasn’t proven to be the case in other cities that passed inclusionary zoning ordinances.
- The supposed purpose of those rules was to protect Oregon’s farmlands. Now, the extremely wealthy are buying up farms and ranches and turning them into hobby farms. It’s not quite as bad as Hawaii, where land-use rules destroyed the state’s agricultural industry by making housing too expensive for farm workers, but it is still an sad unintended consequence of oppressive government regulation.

This is very troubling! I'm glad that the Azure farms situation was ruled in their favor because the local government was trying to spray roundup to get rid of their noxious weeds.
So we are seeing some progress but not fast enough. Now, it seems like they're trying to squeeze out the little guy with this land issue so it makes it almost impossible to farm.

yup...as always government is the problem...not the solution.
if the citizens of state votes for more oppressive government..then who's fault is it when the government oppresses?
My solution would involve SMALL states...all of whom are sovereign. Make portland it's Own state..let them do as they damn well please...and make the rural counties into several different states...each of whom can do as they chose.
@everittdmickey
That makes a whole lot of sense! Your proposal would best reflect the will of the people because the extreme progressives who live in the major cities have no clue about the folks who just want to live off the land with freedom.

lol 😂
"yup...as always government is the problem...not the solution."
Nailed it! @everittdmickey
Attention to detail is always important.

Radical inclusionisms are always necessary as a final detail.
They're building ARKs Brother! Indemnify massively!

I've seen those. Used on a number of job sites that I've hauled stuff to when I was a trucker.

I would have to agree with ya! Very impressive! I need to show these pictures to my dad. He always loved heavy equipment like this!
I'm a retired heavy haul trucker

i did this
except bigger.
my rig had two more axels.
@everittdmickey
Sounds like you've had some experience! Great pics, I might add!
My dad read a book by R.G LeTourneau entitled, "Mover of Men and Mountains"
If you like heavy machinery then you would probably find it to be a good read!
25 years trucking
15 years heavy haul.
I've been to the LeTourneau plant
