I recently made a post.
Water From Air

It was about a scam.
One of the things that I found interesting was that the first part, and a large part, of the video in question was about providing a socially justifiable REASON for their product.

The product would HELP CHILDREN. It was GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. (yadda yadda and so on)

Have you ever seen any product info-mercials like that?

How could you not? They're almost everywhere you look.

"Buy my shitty product not because it works..but because by doing so you will signal your VIRTUE!"

"It doesn't MATTER if my product doesn't work! If you don't buy it you hate children. If you don't buy my wonderful thingie you HATE the PLANET! If you don't buy my product you're just like HITLER!"
