Imagine that...I am SO shocked.

Southern Poverty Law Center Transfers Millions in Cash to Offshore Entities
.........................................................................................................................................................................

  • "I've never known a US-based nonprofit dealing in human rights or social services to have any foreign bank accounts," said Amy Sterling Casil, CEO of Pacific Human Capital, a California-based nonprofit consulting firm. "My impression based on prior interactions is that they have a small, modestly paid staff, and were regarded by most in the industry as frugal and reliable. I am stunned to learn of transfers of millions to offshore bank accounts. It is a huge red flag and would have been completely unacceptable to any wealthy, responsible, experienced board member who was committed to a charitable mission who I ever worked with."
    .
"It is unethical for any US-based charity to invest large sums of money overseas," said Casil. "I know of no legitimate reason for any US-based nonprofit to put money in overseas, unregulated bank accounts."

Socialist Dhimikrats (but I repeat myself) being unethical? Who'd a thunk?

"I know of no legitimate reason for any US-based nonprofit to put money in overseas, unregulated bank accounts. absolutely bro !

Its another fraud.
Taking money from poor people in rich countries and feeding it to rich people in poor countries.

oh what a wicked web we weave when we set out to deceive.

I am becoming of the opinion that no large group is left untouched by massive corruption today.

I am no longer anti-left or anti-right, but I am anti-criminals at all moments.

the right lost their heads some time back, but almost seem to have regained them, and the left has degenerated into madness, pure and simple.

the left lost their way nearly thirty-three years ago in Australia, and the people have been converted into good sheep.
The right lost their way when they embraced jebus, and the NRA and the business lobbies and the oligarchy, (not understanding that this group of things are mutually incompatible) and more recently when they jumped onto the Trump bandwagon even though we actually already knew the fellow.
In fact he was a celebrity, and not exactly known as a friend of the common man, or woman.

But he certainly gave some great speeches, and one could almost pretend, but when the hell has it really been different this time?

Still I was very pleased on the morning after, from another point of the globe, to hear that the dreaded Killary had been defeated.
Anything was better than that.

But where are the factually informed and non sports fan thinking people who don't identify with any of the toxic groups.

see my posts regarding the monkeysphere, Dunbar's number, rat utopia, and the Iron Law of Beuracracy

I like those themes of which you speak, but I will see all your posts when you see all of mine.

lol

we will work on what we see going forward.

this place has a lot of posts

Nothing quite so profitable as a nonprofit. Even after the CEO takes maybe 500,000 in salary, there's still too much left to stash under the mattress.
