How can this be? Because we’re talking about temperatures over LAND, where people actually live.NASA and NOAA have been confusing us (Deliberately? No, never.) by including OCEAN temperatures in their pronouncements of hottest year ever. They somehow forgot to remind us that ocean temperatures had risen due to the very powerful El Niño.

I'm wondering if you just like rooting for the underdog or you have something to gain from denying global warming. I don't disagree with what you wrote, I'm sure if i did due diligence I could also find the same answer you have expressed.
BUT
In my heart and soul I can feel the world dying. It is not as clean as it once was, even in my 36 years on this planet. The weather patterns have changed. Winters in my hometown no longer see snow above my waist. Fish die from heat related complications.
The world has changed a lot in my life.
What do we have to lose (aside from money) to just try and make it cleaner? Seriously. does it matter?
We know what to do, we don't know the results.
Like I said, me others and even you can feel the changes even if we don't agree on how its happening.
Nothing to lose going green. Absolutely nothing of earthly value.

Only 36 years old huh? Do you know anything at all about the 'dirty thirties', that's what they called the dust bowl. Do you know anything at all about the periodic floods that happen in the mississippi watershed? the one in 1927(I think) in which the river was twenty or thirty miles wide at memphis? Are you aware of the LIttle Ice Age in which it was so cold that the Mississippi FROZE solid as far south as N.Oreleans? Did you ever hear the terrm 1833 and froze todeath?...the year without summer? seriously...there was no summer that year...

You should. The scientific accuracy of deadpools is underwhelming. It's plot...lt's pacing...it's characterization. About the same as 'before the flood' but with more chop sockey.
