I Was gonna offer her somewhere to run to, if the situation got bad.
Fortunately she is happily married, and living in OZ, so no worries.

Global warming? Man caused? We live on a rock, flying through space, completely dependent on an orbit around a ball of gas that's on fire. We are so dependent on a consistent orbit and consistent flame that the insignificant tilt of our rock towards the sun causes winter to turn to summer. Whether I ride a bike or drive a gas guzzling SUV must be more significant than the tilt of the planet! What do you think will kill you first, government policies or living life to the fullest? Look at the bright side, we could live long enough for our gas ball to burn up... aaaah we're all going to die.

Drought has been constant throughout the ages, somewhere on earth it is likely there is someplace that has no or very little water for a couple of years. Climate change happens and is happening, is it man made? Probably we help out, we are probably the most damaging species the world has ever had, is man the main cause? I don't think so.
