AirPlane
that has no moving parts
........................................................................................................................................................................
Except for the plane.
yay...whoopee.
only it's not the "FIRST"...not really.
People have been doing this for YEARS. It's called the Biefeld-Brown Effect
- the effect to produce thrust in the air without requiring any combustion or moving parts
Some call it 'Ionic Wind', which is actually pretty much correct.
It'd be GREAT except for one teeny tiny problem.
Energy Density. So far we don't have a battery that stores enough energy to take advantage of it.
We're getting there however,
It appears that the energy density of batteries has it's own version of Moores Law
Kinda wimpy by comparison? Or perhaps batteries aren't very far up on the 'curve' yet?
It would appear that pretty soon we're gonna have high enough energy density to power the ionic wind. When that happens we won't need no steenkin engines for airplanes.
When that happens the aircraft won't need to plane.
They can be vertical take off.
When that happen there won't be any engine noise.
The aircraft will be as silent as an Owl.
