Weekly Report including New Plans/Strategies as Moderator of Steemit Pakistan

Hello everyone!

In this post, I am reporting all my activities that I carried out in the last week as the moderator of Steemit Pakistan and also sharing my plans and strategies for the development and growth of the community.

I will start by tabulating some stats that show my commitment as a responsible Moderator and a Steemian.

Introduction of Prime Members

It is essential to grow the curation account of the community and we have always devised strategies and reformed plans for that. While we focus on powering up maximum rewards and beneficiaries earned by the curation account, delegations play a very important role. It is kind of a pay back from the loyal members of the community. However, it is never a compulsion to delegate but we do give preferred support to our delegators.

I observed that we had good number of delegators but the delegation amounts were very small. Ofcourse there were some members who were delegating more than 50% of their steem power. I believe such members deserve some distinction and are actual loyal members who don't delegate just for their personal gain.

Upon discussing the matter with the admin, he came up with the idea of Prime Members- members who have delegated 50% or more of their total steem power to @steemit-pak. I am now working on the labels as it will help distinguish those members for better curatorial support from @steemit-pak.

Steem Clubs

I am constantly guiding and helping people in adjusting their transactions to make them eligible for any of the three clubs they want to join. I made a guidance post for them which appears to be helping out a lot of people. Not to mention the 24x7 help provided on Whatsapp and Discord.

My Contribution in Community Initiatives/ Projects

To increase the engagement in the community, I came up with the idea of rewarding most active and engaging members. Previously, this activity was encouraged by the admin but had to stop after few months. Now that the active users have increased a lot and engagement on each post is necessary. So @hassanabid very kindly agreed to give me a list showing users' engagement stats each week. With the the help of that list, I shortlist most engaging members of the week and announce them weekly through official account.

Besides that I weekly organize Photography Contest through official account. I have been handling this contest for past eight months and it's going great. We get a lot of activity through this contest.

I have been assigned to handle another contest few days ago. It is daily contest which is helping in increasing the activity of the community.

Quality & Plagiarism Check

Through this post, I want to warn all the plagiarists to stay away from Steemit Pakistan. You will not get anything by stealing content. I am constantly checking all posts in the community and ruling out any kind of plagiarism or spamming.

Curatorial Report from Personal Account

I try to visit all posts in the community. If not daily, then every 2nd or 3rd day. I read 15 to 20 posts in a day and guide or appreciate the users according to the quality.

My Plans for Community

Following are my plans that I will put to effect from this week:

• Provide Help with writing quality posts to individuals through a dedicated post. (You can inform me in the comments of this post if you want me to analyze your posts and provide exclusive guidance.)

• Resuming Promotional Activities in Pakistan.
