... headquarters building when I was an intern at the Austrian permanent mission during the Austrian presidency of the council of the EU . Even after my internship was over I went back to the UN main building several times, walking though security with an expired badge, just to use the cafeteria or assist in any meeting I felt interested in. I could have been a terrorist carrying a bomb, but security never noticed. Crazy, right?
