Hello steemit family, I welcome you to my blog today. It's been said that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. It’s also the little drops of water that fills an ocean. No skyscraper or edifice is built in a day. Every person who has ever gotten to the top in any endeavour, career or business went through a process. Life itself is a journey. We all want to achieve success, but we have to know that that level of success we’re aiming for will require time to build.

However, some people give up too easily when things don’t go the way they anticipate. They get discouraged and throw in the trowel.

Now on to steemit, many of us have been on steemit for months without recording any tangible growth and success. We update our blogs again and again yet get little payout. And you might ask yourself what you’re even doing here. When you look at others, they seem to be getting ahead and succeeding at a greater rate compared to you. The thing is you might not know the principles they’re employing to grow the way they are doing. So your journey on steemit should be approached with utmost dedication and diligence.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

  1. Be willing to open your heart to learn new things that will catalyze your growth. Steemit is a school of it’s own and I bet you won’t know everything about this community in one day.
  2. Build relationships and friendships. Steemit is a big community and you need to identify people to start relating with. Don’t be an island. You need others to succeed.
  3. Join a community or group. There are many small groups that have been formed in steemit to help the growth and success of one another. There are groups on WhatsApp, Telegram and discord that are tailored to supporting members. Look for such groups and join.

a. One of such group I can invite you to join is the Customer Witness channel on discord run by @dobartim https://discord.gg/QCgsFk
b. @steem-x discord channel https://discord.gg/pExDpx
c. @asapers discord channel https://discord.gg/DVBGUb
d. @reachout channel https://discord.gg/WJkhwh8.

You’ll be supported to grow in these places.

  1. Update your blog regularly. This is a very important component of growth in steemit. If your blog is not frequently updated, people will not have interest to be visiting it. So try as much as you can to update your blog at least every two days.
Finally, before I drop today, remember that winners don’t quit and quitters don’t win.

I will always thank the Antigenic Revolution Recruitment Scheme and the @steem-x community run by these wonderful people @antigenx, @brightfame, @joagawu, @lorenzo1420 and @sammyswt for introducing me to steemit and coaching me to succeed here.
And thank you too for taking your time to read my blog today.
