PROMOTING STEEMIT ON FACEBOOK: SOON TO BE THE BEST SOCIAL MEDIA

Introduction

Hi, Am Evans

My first visibility after a month of joining steemit is to promote the Steemit Project which is based on the steem blockchain and is also an Open Source Project.

Steemit is a decentralized online social community (Social Media), where intellectual individuals of various races come together to contribute true value to the community through unique, original and good content post and get rewarded for their effort, which means anyone can join here because i believe every human being is a unique being and as such, i felt like i should introduce this platform to other individuals by boosting it on my facebook page for all to see.

Audience

I wanted to reach as many individuals as possible as i can so i targeted the whole ages allowed on Facebook which is from ages 13-65 for all gender, i thought to myself if a thirteen years old could use Facebook, i cant see why they cant use steemit which in my opinion actually adds value more anyway. There where no interest specifically selected when boosting in other to cover a wide range of individuals with different interests.

Activity

I already own a Facebook Account HERE with almost 3000 friends, so what i did next was to create a Facebook Page named 'Open Source Center' HERE and then i made a Post about Steemit Project right HERE. The post was explained in the simplest possible form so that everyone could understand what i meant and i attached a link below that leads straight to Steemit Signup page for Registration as shown below.

Results

I happened to have promoted this post four times instead of three due to some Facebook errors that occurred while boosting the post.

From all my boost i was reaching out at large to Nigerians, i made a reach of more than 5000 at the price of #4000 which is 11USD equivalent.

My First Boost

My first boost had a reach of about 3,156 people and 1551 engagements. I ran it for 3 days straight targeting ages 13-65 of all gender in other to make sure i reach as much people as possible over time from 13th February - 16th February and amount spent was #2350.

My Second Boost

My Second boost had a reach of about 1696 people and 957 engagements. I ran it for 4 days straight targeting ages 18-65 from 16th February - 20th February and amount spent was #1450.

My Third Boost

My Third boost was an error from Facebook when i tried to increase the duration for the second boost. It had a reach of about 0 people and 0 engagements. I ran it for 2 days targeting ages 18-65 of all gender from 18th February - 20th February and amount spent hasn't been deducted yet which is #470, so it doesnt count.

My Fourth Boost

My Fourth boost had a reach of about 222 people and 77 engagements. I ran it for 1 day targeting ages 18-65 of all gender from 20th February - 21th February and amount spent was #200

INSIGHTS DETAILS, LIKES AND OTHERS

Having reached a total of 5,129 people and 1,700 likes, insights showed that 4,924 people where paid the other 205 people where the one's i invited to my page by myself.

Engagements was 1,800 reactions and clicks.
